TWO different types of COVID-19 tests available
Do you want to test for antibodies so that you can get peace of mind or answer those questions you've been asking yourself about your experience with Coronavirus? Perhaps you need a PCR test to attend an event or to get the all-clear after a holiday? We can perform both of these tests, along with antigen testing too. Find out more about each test below. Antigen Testing

The quickest type of COVID-19 test available at Egerton Pharmacy is the antigen test., used to determine if you currently have COVID. Some countries accept this test as 'fit-to-fly' certification.

The antigen test is also ideal if you want to safely see friends and family or prove your COVID-19 status for work purposes.

To get tested you will need to book an appointment at our Islington pharmacy. The pharmacist on duty will carry out the test by taking a nasal swab and then conducting the antigen test.
PCR Test
24- 36 hours results £69 Same day results £99.00
The PCR test is a lab-based test to reliably assess the presence of COVID-19 infection. Once swabbed, bring the sample back to us. We will arrange collection to the lab. Results are then emailed within 24 - 36 hours from dropping of the sample.
This test is ideal for fit to fly certification and can also be used to prove a negative result if it has been requested for entry into a venue.
Testing is available Monday to Friday.
